World Food Prize Iowa Hunger Summit - October 12th in Des Moines, IA

On Tuesday, October 12th at 10am, Executive Director Dr. Jennifer Hall will present a Brazilian perspective as part of the Heartland Global Health Consortiuum's "Starving for Education: Nutrition, Brain Development & Education Globally" on "Iowan's Impact on Mild-to-Moderate Malnutrition in Salvador, Brazil."  To register for this free event to be held at the Mariott Convention Center in downtown Des Moines, click here.

Open House Shopping Extravaganza - October 14th in Cedar Falls, IA

Join us Thursday, October 14th at the Hartman Nature Reserve Center from 5:00-8:00pm for a holiday shopping extravaganza.  The event features area vendors, children's activities, Brazilian coffee and juices and Over the Rainbow's world market with artifacts from over 25 countries. Sponsored by the Cedar Falls Kohl's Store.

American Public Health Association Annual Session - November 8th in Denver, CO

On Monday, November 8th, Executive Director Dr. Jennifer Hall will present on the "Environmental Health Status and Health Concerns for Roma Populations" during the International Environmental Health Session at the APHA Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado.
