Our community-based center, located in the heart of Salvador in the Favela de Santa Terezinha, has made significant health and education impacts to more than 30 impoverished children and their families by offering a variety of programs and activities. Local Administration

Marta Carreiro, Local Director of our community-based center in Salvador, Brazil has previously taught for 16 years with varying age levels. For over 10 years she has served as a local coordinator for local and international community development projects.  Marta is from Salvador, Brazil and currently manages and runs the center and its programs.
